Great to meet you!

My name is Ashley Dixon, MSW, LCSW, and I earned my Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Widener University and my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. My educational and professional background allow me to understand how thoughts, emotions, and environments work together to influence overall well-being. I work with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, and challenges related to self-esteem, relationships, or personal growth. My goal is to help each person connect with their most authentic self, uncover barriers that may be holding them back, and build confidence in their ability to make meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and trauma-informed. I believe that you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to provide guidance, perspective, and support along your journey. I integrate Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to help you identify unhelpful thought patterns, regulate emotions, and strengthen coping strategies. Together, we’ll focus on promoting self-awareness, building resilience, and creating balance in your daily life.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a comfortable and supportive space to share your story, explore your goals, and discuss what brings you to therapy. We’ll work together to develop a plan that aligns with your unique needs and values. My priority is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, validated, and understood. I strive to create an environment where you feel empowered to grow, heal, and build the life you want—one step at a time.
