Great to meet you!

Soon after graduating from my Masters program in Counseling Psychology: emphasis in Art Therapy, I jumped right into the career I knew was meant for me. I have had the privilege of being a part of the lives and treatments of individuals in various settings, including inpatient psychiatric programs, schools, and residential facilities for older adults. Now with my private practice, I have seen how my education, experiences, and continual training keeps me ready for what is ahead.

My approach to therapy

From early in my training, I received feedback that I am an "authentic" clinician. Though this comes naturally in my style as a therapist, I find it essential that clients feel safe in this space. I find it helpful to offer clients tools that they can practically use in their day-to-day. I have noticed CBT, DBT, and ACT easily provide opportunities for this. Also, my training in Art Therapy can prompt creativity in treatment and allows a form of expression that does not always rely on words.

What you can expect from me

With self-compassion as the foundation in therapy, I feel it is important to check in with where one is at today and examining where one would like to be. I set my goal to guide clients in exploring what is important to them in life and moving forward with intention.
