Great to meet you!
Hi, I’m Ashley! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with five years of experience supporting children, parents, and families as they navigate the many challenges that can come with childhood, parenting, and family life. I strive to create a warm, safe, and welcoming space where children and families feel understood, supported, and accepted.
I earned my undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Memphis and went on to earn my Master’s degree in Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling from Naropa University, where I attended from 2019–2022. During my graduate training, I completed internships at Windhorse Community Services and Empowered Play, where I developed a strong foundation in working with children and utilizing play therapy.
My experience includes supporting children and families through trauma, anxiety, life transitions, neurodiversity, ADHD, emotional regulation challenges, and parenting concerns. I especially enjoy working alongside parents to better understand their child’s needs and find compassionate, practical ways to support their child’s growth and well-being.
My approach is warm, playful, and relationship-centered. I believe children often communicate and process their experiences through play, and I use play therapy and mindfulness-informed approaches to help children build emotional awareness, develop coping skills, and feel more confident navigating the world around them.
I have a private practice office in Gunbarrel, Colorado, and also offer telehealth services. I look forward to getting to know you and your family and creating a therapeutic space where you feel supported along the way.
