Great to meet you!

Starting therapy can often make people feel nervous and unsure about what to expect. I understand how hard it is to trust a stranger with such personal thoughts and feelings. I have been working to help others create a safe and productive space to share and grow since 2013.

My approach to therapy

My overall approach to therapy is a collaborative one. No one knows your life better than you, and it wouldn't be helpful for me to tell you what you need. You know what is not going well and what you would prefer instead, and my role is to create a safe and open space for us to find the way to get there. I do have specific training in tools and interventions most clients feel are helpful on their journey, but you are an active part of the process.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, the goal is to get to know you. I want to help you feel supported and heard. It is your space to share the challenges that have been causing you stress, as I engage in getting to know you better. It is my hope that my the end of our first session together, you will be feeling more comfortable and confident with moving forward.
