Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 15 years of experience working in community mental health, child welfare, inpatient psychiatric care, crisis services, and clinical leadership. I earned my Master of Science in Social Work and am currently pursuing a Doctor of Social Work degree. Throughout my career, I've helped individuals navigate anxiety, stress, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, and periods of feeling stuck or overwhelmed. I especially enjoy working with adults who are balancing multiple responsibilities and striving to create healthier, more fulfilling lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach is empowering, direct, and solution-oriented. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel supported, but also challenged to make meaningful changes. I draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy to help clients better understand themselves, develop practical coping strategies, and move toward the life they want to create. I enjoy working with adults experiencing anxiety, burnout, life transitions, boundary-setting difficulties, self-esteem concerns, and the challenges that come with navigating the demands of career, caregiving, family relationships, and personal growth.

What you can expect from me

The first session is focused on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. I like to spend time learning about your background, current challenges, strengths, and the goals you hope to achieve. Building a strong therapeutic relationship is important to me, so I strive to create an environment where you feel comfortable, heard, and understood. Together, we'll begin identifying what changes you would like to see in your life and develop a plan that feels realistic, meaningful, and aligned with your values.
