Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Supervisor. As the owner of a successful private practice for over 8 years, I have over 16 years of professional clinical experience from various healthcare settings including family medicine, psychiatry, and behavioral health.

I studied at McNeese State University in Lake Charles, LA and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science and a Master of Arts degree in Psychology.

My approach to therapy

By striving to meet patients where they are, I believe that by supporting and encouraging patients to become more independent, autonomous, and empowered, they can confront any life challenge and learn to overcome each and every obstacle on their own terms.

I specialize in working with children, teens, young adults, at-risk youth, abuse/trauma survivors, military members, and veterans. When establishing relationships, I offer a unique background and life experiences to best provide connection and empathy when applying evidence-based treatment approaches.

I also specialize in working with those coping with panic disorders/anxiety, depression/bipolar/mood disorders, fertility/postpartum, PTSD, grief, and family/relationship dynamics.

What you can expect from me

I believe it's NEVER too late to change your life, and it's NEVER too late to be who you want to be. All you have to do is take that first step. I'll be here to help whenever you are ready!
