Great to meet you!

Hi! I’m Ashley—former educator, school counselor, and a doctoral candidate . I support humans ages 3+ navigating anxiety, perfectionism, ADHD, life transitions, burnout, and the pressure to hold everything together. My years in education uniquely equip me to help parents with practical strategies and to support educators and students at all levels working through burnout and imposter syndrome. My style brings together a person‐centered belief that you’re the expert on your own life, paired with research‐backed strategies, clear psychoeducation, and a light touch of humor to make the hard work feel more doable.

My approach to therapy

Core Modalities

  • CBT & Behavioral Activation: Shift unhelpful thoughts and build intentional, fulfilling daily routines.
  • Narrative Therapy: Reshape the stories and self-beliefs that define your experience.
  • Motivational Interviewing & Psychoeducation: Navigate change, explore motivation, and understand how your brain and body respond to stress.
  • Art Therapy: Offer creative outlets for expression and healing.

Kids, Parents & Families

  • Play Therapy & Child-Parent Psychotherapy: Play is a child’s natural language to process emotions and deepen attachment.
  • Psychoeducational Family Therapy & Parenting: Practical parenting skills, monthly consultations, and clear family support.
  • School Advocacy: 504 plan guidance to help children succeed in the classroom.

My goal: Provide realistic, actionable tools that busy adults, kids, and families can easily use in everyday life.

What you can expect from me

We’ll start with a safe, easy introduction to discuss your goals and ensure you feel heard. From there, we’ll dive into your story to get the full picture:

  • Current Concerns
  • Your History: Understanding your background and health.
  • Your Strengths: Identifying the resilience you already possess.

We’ll wrap up with a clear plan—focusing on your core challenges and defining what success looks like for you. You’ll leave feeling understood, hopeful, and ready for our next steps. You don’t have to navigate all of this alone. Whether you prefer in‐person sessions in Atascocita, walk‐and‐talk therapy, or virtual counseling, we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. If you or your child are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or ready for something to shift, I'm here to take the next step with you!
