Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Ashley, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker working with women, LGBTQ+ individuals, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, identity, and major life transitions like new motherhood, relationship changes, and grief. I work with adolescents, adults, and seniors who often come to therapy feeling emotionally exhausted, stuck in cycles of worry or low mood, or trying to make sense of who they are inside relationships, family, and culture. Many of my clients are women balancing competing roles, LGBTQ+ clients searching for affirming care, parents navigating maternal mental health concerns, or individuals carrying the weight of trauma, grief, or chronic stress. As a Latine therapist, I bring deep awareness of how culture, family systems, and identity shape your story. Together we'll create a space where you can be seen, heard, and supported as you build a more grounded and connected life.

My approach to therapy

I take a warm, empowering, and person-centered approach to therapy, tailoring each session to your needs, identity, and goals. My work is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Strength Based methods, with attention to cultural context and lived experience throughout. Together we may explore anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, panic, identity issues, relationship challenges, family conflict, grief, chronic illness, maternal mental health concerns, transgender care needs, end of life questions, and the stress of life transitions. Some weeks we'll go deep into insight work, noticing the patterns and stories that are getting in the way. Other weeks we'll focus on concrete tools you can carry into your daily life. I believe therapy works best when it builds on what's already strong in you and equips you to face what comes next with clarity and self compassion.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, affirming, and culturally aware space where you feel respected, heard, and never judged. I work to make sessions feel collaborative — you set the pace, and we partner on what matters most to you. Over time, you can expect to build greater self awareness, healthier coping strategies, improved emotional regulation, stronger relationships, more confidence in your identity, and tools to navigate stress, anxiety, depression, and life's bigger transitions. Whether you're a woman juggling many roles, an LGBTQ+ client seeking affirming care, a new parent navigating maternal mental health, or anyone carrying difficult emotions, my goal is to help you feel more grounded, connected, and hopeful about what's next.
