Great to meet you!

I’m a therapist who specializes in working with children (8+), caregivers, and families navigating trauma, big life changes, and family conflict. I take a family-systems perspective, which means I look at how each person and relationship in the family impacts the others. In addition to individual therapy, I also offer family reunification supervision upon request, depending on my current caseload. My goal is to create a safe, steady space where you and your child feel heard, validated, and supported as you work toward healing, stability, and stronger relationships.

My approach to therapy

I use evidence-based, practical approaches tailored to each child and family. This includes Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), child-centered play therapy, behavior modification, parenting strategies, mindfulness practices, and trauma-focused counseling for children. As a Project BEST–trained TF-CBT therapist, I walk children and caregivers through structured components like education about trauma, coping skills, cognitive restructuring, safety planning, and creating a trauma narrative in a way that feels developmentally appropriate and supportive.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll slow things down and focus on getting to know each other. I’ll ask about your child’s history, current challenges, strengths, and what you hope will feel different after therapy. For children, I use age-appropriate conversation and activities to help them feel more at ease. For caregivers, we’ll talk about what’s working, what isn’t, and how I can best support your family. You’ll leave with a clearer sense of the treatment plan, next steps, and how we’ll work together to help your child feel safer, more confident, and more understood.
