Great to meet you!

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University, my career began at a residential eating disorder program working with women and young girls where I developed a passion for helping clients work through anxiety, depression, perfectionism, and their overall relationship to the mind, body and spirit.

My work continued in community mental health supporting clients through trauma, grief, and socioeconomic stressors. I have specific training around trauma, attachment styles and religious/spiritual trauma.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is interpersonal, collaborative and psychodynamic. I believe that significant change happens with a strong therapeutic relationship. My work is to help empower my clients to make decisions that are aligned with their core values and the life they want to create. I integrate mindfulness, somatic psychotherapy, and trauma-informed therapy to help you build awareness of your thoughts, emotions, and body responses.

What you can expect from me

Whether it’s your first time seeking therapy or you’re continuing the therapy journey, my goal for our first session is to get to know a little bit about you and your story. I work to create a space where you begin to feel understood, accepted, and safe to explore your experiences. From there, we’ll work together to explore and develop your therapeutic goals.
