Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Ashley Harding, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Colorado/New Jersey and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. For more than 8 years I have specialized in supporting children and teens experiencing anxiety, big emotions, ADHD, anger/outbursts, challenges at school, family changes, and behavior concerns. When your child is struggling, finding the right support can make all the difference. I am here to help your child or teen manage their symptoms, strengthen emotional regulation, and improve self-esteem/confidence. Your child can learn to express their thoughts and feelings effectively to improve their overall functioning at home, school, and socially.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy through warm, compassionate, and developmentally appropriate care. Through play-based interventions, cognitive behavioral therapy, and solution-focused techniques, I help children and teens develop practical skills to manage emotions, navigate challenges, and build confidence. Throughout treatment I will meet your child where they are while building on their unique strengths. I partner with parents, caregivers, and guardians to create achievable goals that will help your child make meaningful lifelong changes.

What you can expect from me

In the first session we’ll focus on getting to know your child to create a welcoming space where they can be themselves. They’ll have the opportunity to share their story, strengths, and concerns on their own terms. My goal is for everyone to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the counseling process.

Ready to take the first step for your child? Schedule a free 15 minute consultation. I provide virtual therapy in Colorado, Florida, and New Jersey with flexible scheduling to fit your family’s life.
