Great to meet you!
If you are used to being “the strong one” for everyone else, or you are the one who avoids conflict, people pleases, and questions yourself, I am glad you have found your way here. I work with people who carry a lot: anxiety, childhood trauma, complicated family roles, spiritual questions, and the pressure to keep it all together. Many of my clients are high achieving women and girls, caregivers, creatives, and people from diverse cultural, spiritual, and family backgrounds. In our work, you do not have to be the responsible one, the calm one, or the perfect one. You get to be a human who deserves care.
My style is warm, honest, and down to earth. I will absolutely hold space for your tears, your stories, and your silence, and I will also gently challenge patterns that keep you stuck, such as people pleasing, self doubt, and difficulty setting boundaries. I integrate practical, evidence based tools (such as cognitive and behavioral strategies, nervous system regulation, and skills for boundaries and communication) with expressive arts, journaling, and story based work. For clients who are a good fit, I also offer EMDR, sensual and relational intimacy work that focuses on consent, communication, and embodiment, and holistic practices such as mindful movement, breathwork, ritual, and somatic awareness. Together, we slow things down enough to notice what is really happening in your body, your thoughts, and your relationships, and then we build new ways of responding.
I am comfortable talking about faith, spirituality, and meaning if you would like to include those parts of you in therapy, and I am also comfortable keeping our work purely clinical and skills focused. My goal is for you to feel safer in your own skin: more regulated, more grounded, and more free to live as your full self, not just the version of you that everyone else needs.
