Great to meet you!

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in working with adults navigating stress, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I grew up in Texas, completed my training in Southern California, and have called Charleston home for over a decade.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is influenced by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which focuses on the relationship between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I help clients gain insight and clarity, while also offering practical skills to apply outside of sessions. I believe humans are extraordinarily resilient but sometimes need extra support along their journey. I aim to provide that support using evidence based techniques grounded in a safe and collaborative relationship.

Every individual is unique, so your treatment plan will be based on your particular needs, goals, and preferences. For clients diagnosed with Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), I offer evidence-based trauma therapies including Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Written Exposure Therapy (WET).

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can be anxiety provoking, so I strive to make it as comfortable as possible. I meet clients where they are at, establishing a pace that fosters growth and meaningful positive change. I aim for each client to leave their first session feeling supported, heard, and hopeful.
