I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I am currently working towards my Registered Play Therapist (RPTTM) credential. I graduated with my Master's from the University of North Texas. I have experience working with children, preteens, teens, and young adults in a variety of settings. I support people of all ages in-person and virtual appointments for those over the age of 13.
Through Child-Centered Play Therapy and expressive art modalities, I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space where children feel empowered to explore themselves and their abilities to overcome obstacles.
For teens and adults my approach is more collaborative in nature. I incorporate more expressive arts and directive narrative approaches when appropriate. I believe that you are the expert on your life therefore what you bring into counseling is what is important, and I aim to empower you on your healing journey.
I believe that the relationship is an important aspect of therapy and believe in showing my client’s unconditional acceptance, empathy, and encouragement.
