Great to meet you!

I am a licensed professional clinical counselor supervisor (LPCC-S) and licensed chemical dependency counselor (LCDC III) with experience providing therapy to adults since 2014. I work with individuals navigating depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, trauma, and chronic stress, helping clients develop practical tools while also gaining deeper insight into themselves and their experiences.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is person-centered and integrative, meaning I tailor treatment to the unique needs, goals, and strengths of each individual. I frequently utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify unhelpful patterns, build healthier coping strategies, and create meaningful change in their daily lives. I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, flexible, and grounded in respect for each client’s personal story.

I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or ready to make changes but unsure where to begin, my goal is to meet you where you are and support you in moving toward greater balance, resilience, and well-being.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin building a foundation for our work together. We’ll spend time discussing what brings you to therapy, any current challenges you’re facing, and what you hope to gain from counseling. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—you’re welcome to move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

I’ll ask some questions to better understand your background, experiences, and goals, and I’ll also explain my approach to therapy so you know what to expect moving forward. Together, we’ll begin identifying areas to focus on and discuss how therapy can be tailored to meet your specific needs. Sessions are collaborative and client-centered, and your input plays an important role in shaping the direction of our work.

My goal in the first session is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and respected. By the end of the session, many clients leave with a clearer understanding of their concerns, an initial sense of direction, and reassurance that they don’t have to navigate things alone.
