Great to meet you!

I am a dual-certified nurse practitioner committed to delivering holistic, evidence-based mental health care for adults aged 18 and older. As a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I address the comprehensive needs of each individual, including mental, physical, and emotional well-being. My practice is grounded in creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment that promotes healing and personal growth.

I earned a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner studies from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in 2013, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice with a specialization in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner studies from the University of Arizona in 2021. This advanced training and dual certification allow me to integrate physical and mental health perspectives, providing comprehensive and individualized care.

I provide care for adults experiencing depression, anxiety, sleep disturbances, ADHD, and mood disorders.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and individualized. I believe every client deserves to feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their treatment journey. My philosophy focuses on building strong therapeutic relationships, identifying factors contributing to emotional distress, and developing realistic treatment plans that align with each client’s goals and lifestyle. I emphasize balancing medication management, emotional wellness, physical health, coping skills, self-care, and healthy habits to promote lasting stability and overall wellness.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, collaborative, and comprehensive initial session. During this appointment, I take time to understand each client’s concerns, symptoms, history, stressors, medical background, and treatment goals. Effective treatment begins with attentive listening and establishing trust. Together, we develop individualized treatment plans that promote long-term wellness and improved quality of life.
