Anxiety, Depression, Grief, Loss, Identity Issues, and Trauma

Great to meet you!

I have worked in the helping field for over eight years working with adults, young adults, and seniors in clinical outpatient, inpatient, and private practice settings. I have also worked with adolescents in foster care. I truly value creating space for individuals to find themselves. I specialize in working with individuals dealing with grief, depression, anxiety, and with trauma backgrounds.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I first acknowledge where you are in your healing journey. I prioritize being trauma-informed. I take into account how the impact of difficult life experiences shape our emotional experiences and ways of perceiving and navigating the world. Talk therapy interventions and Expressive Arts Therapy (art, music, dance, writing, & drama) are interwoven into the therapy experience allowing clients to fully express themselves while identifying new meaning making and active steps towards healthy change.

What you can expect from our first session

Often clients have described my personality and approach as warm, very understanding, caring, relatable, and thought-provoking, with a touch of humor on the side. As trust is built within the therapeutic relationship, vulnerability and safety resides. With collaborative effort, clients will discover the next steps towards healing and growth.
