Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed clinical social worker who takes a holistic, affirming, and empowering approach to therapy. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to help you better understand yourself, recognize patterns, build practical tools, and create meaningful change.

My approach is warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental—but it’s also honest and active. I won’t simply nod along while you continue doing the things you’ve already told me aren’t working. We’ll celebrate your progress, make room for the messy parts, and gently challenge the patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that may be keeping you stuck.

I integrate evidence-based therapy with attention to the whole person—your mind, body, relationships, identity, environment, and lived experiences. My goal is to create a space where you feel affirmed and understood while also feeling empowered and accountable for the changes you want to make.

Therapy with me is a place to be supported, challenged, curious, and real. You don’t have to have it all figured out—but you do have to be willing to show up for yourself.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is holistic, relational, and collaborative. I look beyond symptoms to understand the whole person—including your experiences, relationships, environment, patterns, and the ways stress and trauma can show up in both the mind and body.

I balance compassion with accountability. You can expect a space that is affirming, supportive, and nonjudgmental, but I’ll also challenge you to notice patterns that may be keeping you stuck. I draw from EMDR, CBT, DBT, attachment-based, solution-focused, somatic, and other evidence-based approaches based on your individual needs.

Ultimately, I want therapy to help you understand yourself more deeply, trust yourself more fully, and develop practical tools to create meaningful, sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

Therapy participants can expect the first session to feel like a conversation, not an interrogation. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been happening in your life, what you’d like to change, and what you hope to gain from our work together.

You don’t have to tell me everything on day one. We’ll move at a pace that feels safe while beginning to identify patterns, strengths, needs, and goals for therapy. I’ll ask questions, offer observations, and help us create a direction for our work together. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and clear about what we’re working toward.
