Great to meet you!

Growing up in California, Colorado and Tennessee concocted a Midwestern warmth with an open-mindedness and appreciation of our differences. These experiences gave me a curiosity for how humans develop in their environments and with their unique histories, leading me to pursue psychology.

I studied Political Science at Vanderbilt University before a seven year tenure in the corporate world. I am grateful for this experience as it has added depth and perspective to my work with clients. In 2014 I began my counseling psychology degree at The Wright Institute in Berkeley and then completed my training in San Francisco. My training journey encompassed internships at community mental health clinics, elementary and high schools, group therapy practices, and social service sites where I received intensive supervision in a variety of modalities. I regularly attend trainings and consult with colleagues to hone my craft and provide the best possible care.

My approach to therapy

Therapy with me puts you at ease, leaving you with a sense of safety and companionship. I am warm and relatable, and my clients find me easy to talk to. Together we will slow things down to understand what’s really going on for you and examine it with curiosity and compassion. I listen deeply to understand all the layers of you - those we can see and those that are waiting to be discovered.

What you can expect from me

My aim is to expand what you know about yourself so you can feel empowered to make informed decisions about your life. We explore your multitudes in a caring environment, so you can learn to care for each part of yourself too. I care deeply about my clients; working with me means I’m firmly in your corner. My hope for you is that you can move forward in your life with a greater sense of ease and meaning.
