Great to meet you!

Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, depression, or life changes that feel hard to manage alone. I work with women, individuals, and families who are navigating major transitions, parenting challenges, and the emotional weight of everyday life.

I have a special interest in supporting individuals on the autism spectrum and their families, including parents balancing caregiving, advocacy, and their own well-being. I also help clients manage anxiety, depression, burnout, and adjustment to new roles or life circumstances.

As someone who grew up in a military family, I understand the challenges that come with frequent moves, uncertainty, and starting over. My goal is to provide a supportive space where you feel understood, encouraged, and equipped to move forward.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. I focus on creating a safe, supportive environment where you can talk openly without judgment. Together, we’ll identify what’s not working, build coping skills, and develop realistic strategies you can use in your daily life.

I draw from evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and strengths-based techniques. Whether you’re managing anxiety, navigating a life transition, or supporting a loved one with autism, my goal is to help you feel more confident, grounded, and in control.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk about what’s bringing you to therapy. We’ll discuss your current concerns, your goals, and any important background so I can better understand your situation.

This session is relaxed and conversational. You don’t need to prepare anything or have everything figured out. We’ll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and you’re always welcome to ask questions along the way.

By the end of our first meeting, you can expect to have a clearer sense of how we’ll work together and the next steps toward helping you feel more supported and confident.
