Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Ash! I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado. I have master’s degrees in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Human Development, and I’ve spent nearly a decade helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, self-esteem, and all the ups and downs that come with being human.

I believe therapy shouldn’t feel stiff or intimidating. My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself, whether that means showing up feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, uncertain, or even using humor to get through the hard stuff. We’ll celebrate your wins, work through the tough moments, and figure things out together.

I’m not the therapist who’s going to sit quietly and nod for 50 minutes. I’ll ask questions, offer honest feedback, help you recognize patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and give you practical tools you can actually use outside of our sessions. I want therapy to feel like a conversation, not a lecture.

I draw from evidence-based approaches like CBT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing, but I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Every person is different, so we’ll find what works best for you.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready for something to change, my goal is to help you better understand yourself, build confidence, and create meaningful, lasting change. I want you to leave each session feeling heard, supported, and a little more hopeful than when you walked in.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should feel like a conversation, not an interrogation. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are without judgment, without having to filter yourself, and without feeling like you have to have it all figured out.

I’m easygoing, approachable, and genuinely enjoy getting to know the people I work with. I’ll laugh with you when it feels right, sit with you through the hard moments, and help you make sense of whatever brought you to therapy. I’m not the type of therapist who just nods for 50 minutes. I’ll ask questions, offer honest feedback, challenge you when needed, and help you come up with practical ways to move forward.

I work with adults dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship challenges, life transitions, self-esteem, and feeling stuck or overwhelmed. I pull from approaches like CBT, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, and Motivational Interviewing, but I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Therapy should fit you—not the other way around.

Whether you’re looking to better manage your emotions, navigate a major life change, improve your relationships, or simply understand yourself a little better, we’ll work together to help you build a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and true to who you are.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, what you’ve been struggling with, and what you hope to get out of our work together. There’s no pressure to tell me your entire life story in one session, we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself. I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, but our conversation will feel natural rather than like you’re being interviewed. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions too, so we can decide if we’re a good fit for working together.

By the end of our first session, I hope you leave feeling heard, understood, and with a clearer idea of what therapy with me will look like. Together, we’ll begin identifying goals and creating a plan that feels realistic, personalized, and focused on the changes that matter most to you.
