I am an independently licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for Washington. Originally from Alabama, I have worked as a in home and crisis therapist, a Juvenile residential therapist for emotionally troubled youth, a juvenile sex offender specific treatment provider, as well as a clinic manager and program director. I enjoy helping others identify a more enjoyable way of life through a Christian perspective of life.
I offer individual therapy using a client centered approach with a Solution focused frame work. I begin with the question: where do you see your journey ending and how do we get there together? I offer couples therapy using the Gottman Method of Couples Therapy.
In addition to psychotherapy options, I also offer psychoeducational programs of: The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work and the Brining Baby Home Program. I also offer group therapy: Womans Support Group, DBT Skills Group and Grief/Bereavement Support Group.
