Great to meet you!

I describe myself as a “hope dealer” with a passion for mental health. Over the past six years, I’ve worked with TDCJ, nonprofits, and juvenile justice systems, gaining experience in abuse and neglect, trauma, substance misuse, anger management, recovery support, and women’s and veterans’ issues.

I provide Mental Health Counseling, Substance Misuse Counseling, Anger Management services, Trauma-Informed Care, Drug & Alcohol Screenings, Assessments, Referrals, SASSIs, and DOT Assessments.

Grounded in ethics, creativity, and compassion, my approach feels like a conversation at your kitchen table—supportive, safe, and nonjudgmental. I walk with you step by step as you heal, grow, and reclaim hope.

My approach to therapy

My style is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. I create a safe, nonjudgmental space that feels more like a real conversation than a clinical session. I use a trauma-informed, client-centered approach and pull from CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and solution-focused techniques to meet your specific needs.

I work with clients by helping them identify patterns, build coping skills, and move toward meaningful change at their own pace.

Specializations Trauma, substance misuse, anger management, recovery support, and mental health concerns for both adults and adolescents. I also have experience working with women, veterans, and individuals impacted by abuse and high-stress environments.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a calm, welcoming environment where they can speak freely without judgment. We’ll focus on getting to know your story, understanding what brings you in, and identifying your immediate needs. I’ll ask gentle, guiding questions to help clarify your goals and what you hope to change or heal.

By the end of the session, we typically establish initial goals, discuss a plan for moving forward, and make sure you feel supported, safe, and understood. My priority is to create a space where you feel comfortable, hopeful, and confident about the next steps in your journey.
