Many of my clients are individuals struggling with some sort of undesirable symptom(s) related to their mental health and find me to see if medication may be something that can help them. The work I do comes from an innate passion to empower others to take control of their lives, their mental health, and their quality of life. I partner with my patients to discover and create a plan for their mental health that feels comfortable, doable and sustainable.
I am a Board Certified Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I specialize in forming a relationship with individuals who are:
1. Already taking medication for a current mental health diagnosis.
2. Experiencing symptoms related to their mental health and would like to see if they may benefit from starting on a medication.
3. Already taking medication for a mental health diagnosis but their treatment is not working the way they would like it to be.
The partnership that I develop with each of my patients is unique, requiring a foundation of mutual trust. The partnership then continues through time, patience and openness.
Our initial appointment involves conversation about your current concerns, past experiences, and anticipated goals. I will make an assessment, determine a diagnosis, create a plan with options for interventions and evaluate your progress in ongoing follow up sessions together.
