Great to meet you!

Reaching out for help is a huge strength, and I'm glad you're here! As a licensed mental health counselor with over 10 years of experience, I am passionate about helping people learn skills to navigate life's challenges and move past suffering. I currently work with adults 18+, specializing in the treatment of trauma and related issues.

My approach to therapy

I bring warmth, insight, and real support to our work together, but I’m not the kind of therapist who just nods and agrees. My clients come to me because they’re ready to take an honest look at the habits, thought patterns, and emotional reactions that are getting in the way of the life they want. Therapy with me is active, collaborative, and grounded in accountability. We’ll go deeper than surface-level validation to do the kind of work that creates lasting change and helps you feel more aligned, empowered, and resilient in your day-to-day life.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is all about building a solid foundation. We'll review some of the logistical parts of starting therapy, including any questions you may have about policies and procedures. Usually, clients will have answered some intake questions ahead of time; this allows us to focus on getting to know each other and beginning to explore your hopes and goals for our work together.
