Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in Mental Health nursing. I believe mental health care should feel personal, supportive, and free of judgment. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. I bring extensive nursing and mental health experience to my practice and work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma-related concerns, sleep difficulties, and other mental health challenges. I believe you are more than a diagnosis, and I take the time to understand the whole person behind the symptoms. Together, we’ll develop a treatment plan that feels realistic, collaborative, and tailored to your individual needs.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, empowering, and solution-oriented. I believe the best mental health care happens when we work together. I take time to listen to your concerns, understand what you’ve been experiencing, and explore how your symptoms are affecting your everyday life. When medication is appropriate, I provide thoughtful medication management while considering your overall health, lifestyle, goals, and preferences. I value shared decision-making and will explain treatment options clearly so you can feel informed and confident in your care. My goal is not simply to address symptoms, but to help you achieve meaningful improvement in your overall well-being and quality of life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is about getting to know you, not just your diagnosis. We’ll talk about what brought you to care, the symptoms or challenges you’re experiencing, your medical and mental health history, current medications, lifestyle, relationships, and the goals you have for treatment. You’ll have plenty of opportunity to ask questions and share what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. There is no pressure and no judgment. By the end of our visit, my goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and clear about our next steps. Together, we’ll begin creating a treatment plan that feels realistic, comfortable, and tailored specifically to you.
