Great to meet you!

I am passionate about providing holistic care that nurtures the body, mind and spirit. I see getting to collaborate with an individual about their desires, dreams, pain, and heartache as a true honor. I have been practicing therapy for 18 years in various setting where I have earned a rich and deep variety of experience. I have worked in residential treatment dealing with a wide range of mood disorders, trauma, and relationship issues. I have worked in hospice specializing in end of life issues, bereavement, and grief and loss. I also have experience working internationally with various populations around the world which I feel has helped deepened my life perspective. The last six years I have been working in private practice focusing on individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, low self esteem, faith transitions, life transitions and relationship issues, grief and loss.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is empathetic, interactive and genuine. My aim is to support and collaborate with you, in helping you to make lasting and meaningful changes in your life. I strive to create a space that feels safe in order to allow healing and growth. I like to take a creative approach to therapy interweaving different evidence-based modalities including mindfullness, cognitive behavioral therapy, client centered therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and brainspotting.

What you can expect from me

My clients often report to me at the end of sessions that they feel clearer, lighter and more motivated to try different skills and strategies that we have discussed. My clients also frequently report feeling seen, heard and validated along with feeling a deeper sense of compassion for themselves. I’m here to help you rediscover hope and take the first steps toward a healthier, more fulfilling life.
