Great to meet you!

I work with adults who are tired of just getting by — people carrying trauma, anxiety, depression, PTSD, or sleep struggles that have quietly shaped their daily life. Many of my clients come from backgrounds where seeking help wasn't modeled or encouraged, including military and veteran communities and people navigating cultural identity alongside mental health. I show up without judgment and with real clinical tools — EMDR, CPT, CBT, ACT — to help you move through what you've been carrying, not just talk around it. I'm currently offering Telehealth sessions in Alabama and Ohio, and I accept Aetna, Cigna, Anthem BCBS, Optum, United Healthcare, Carelon, The Health Plan, Horizon BCBS NJ, and Independence BC.

My approach to therapy

Therapy doesn't need to happen at a certain pace — just a healing one. My approach is collaborative, strength-based, and tailored to you specifically. Depending on what brings you in, we might use EMDR to process experiences stored in the body, CPT to challenge patterns keeping you stuck in trauma responses, or ACT to help you build a life that reflects what actually matters to you. I don't take a one-size-fits-all approach. Some clients need structured skill-building; others need space to process difficult experiences with someone who won't flinch. I balance support with accountability — and I'll always be direct with you about what I think will help.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting to know you — not just your symptoms, but the fuller picture: what's been happening, what's shaped you, what you're hoping for. We'll talk through your history at whatever depth feels right, identify your strengths, and start to sketch out where you want to go. I'll also explain how I work and what our time together could look like. You don't need to arrive with everything figured out. Come as you are — the clarity usually builds from there, together.
