Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Ashley. I’m a queer-identified therapist specializing in LGBTQIA+ clients, people healing from trauma, and those navigating life transitions or relationship challenges. Outside the therapy room, I’m happiest near the ocean, dancing, and doing yoga. My dog, Jodie Foster, is my best friend and you will likely see her snoozing in the background of our sessions. I believe bringing our full humanity into the room matters, and that healing happens best when you feel genuinely seen and supported.

My approach to therapy

I’m trained in EMDR and integrate somatic, emotion-focused, and parts-based work to help you understand your patterns, regulate emotions, and feel safer and more at home in your body. I value the relationship in therapy above all else, and believe therapy should feel human more-so than cold and clinical. You can expect warmth, humor, occasional swearing, and a judgment-free space where you don’t have to censor yourself. If you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed by change, you don’t have to figure it out alone. I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

What you can expect from me

Clients consistently describe feeling deeply heard, understood, and appreciated as complex, multifaceted humans. You can expect to leave sessions with a clearer sense of self-compassion, a toolkit of coping and grounding strategies that actually make sense in your daily life, and a renewed belief in your own resilience. We’ll define goals together—whether that’s reducing anxiety symptoms, processing trauma memories, strengthening relationships, or cultivating authentic self-expression—and revisit them regularly to ensure our work stays relevant. I strive to create a space that is radically accepting, culturally humble, and playfully curious, so you can experiment, make mistakes, and grow without fear of judgment. My hope is that each session feels like stepping into a pocket of safety where you can breathe, be real, and come away empowered to carry that sense of wholeness into the rest of your world.
