Great to meet you!

Walking alongside others as they explore their inner world and move toward greater clarity, healing, and growth is what draws me to this work. I believe therapy can be a meaningful space to better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and reconnect with what matters most to you. My educational background includes a bachelor’s degree in philosophy, a master’s degree in counseling psychology, and a PhD in moral psychology focused on human flourishing. In addition to my clinical work, I am also a mom of two young boys, which keeps me grounded in the realities, challenges, and joys of everyday life.

My approach to therapy

I work with adults, including moms and working professionals, who may be navigating anxiety, panic, work and life stress, postpartum anxiety or depression, emotion regulation challenges, grief and loss, trauma, relationship concerns, and questions around meaning or purpose. My approach is collaborative, thoughtful, and tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. I draw from a variety of evidence based approaches including Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), trauma informed care, and attachment based models. When desired by the client, I also integrate Christian and faith based perspectives into the therapeutic process. I believe healing involves caring for the mind, body, and spirit together, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, informed, and supported throughout our work together.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. We’ll spend time discussing what has been bringing you to therapy, the challenges you may be facing, and the goals you hope to work toward. My goal is for you to feel welcomed, supported, informed, and cared for throughout the process so we can begin creating a path forward together.
