Great to meet you!

I hold a Master's degree from the University of Kansas and am currently pursuing a Doctoral degree at Florida Atlantic University. My academic journey is driven by a passion for understanding and improving mental health practices among college athletes. My research focuses on critical aspects such as the transition from high school to college, the unique pressures faced by collegiate student-athletes, and the challenges associated with transitioning out of sport. Through this work, I aim to develop evidence-based interventions that support the psychological well-being of athletes at various stages of their athletic careers, fostering healthier transitions and holistic success both on and off the field.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in being client-centered, warm, and holistic, creating a safe and laid-back space where clients feel comfortable to explore and grow. I believe in celebrating the little wins, because those small victories add up quickly and build momentum toward meaningful change. I draw from techniques across Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy to tailor my approach to each individual's unique needs. A key focus of my work is helping clients navigate their relationship with their sport, fostering resilience, self-awareness, and balanced perspectives.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a warm, nonjudgmental space where they feel safe to process what's happening in their lives. I focus heavily on the here and now—helping you tune into your body and your mind—so you can develop a deeper awareness of your thoughts, feelings, and physical sensations. Our sessions are a collaborative journey, centered on your experiences and strengths, with the goal of empowering you to move forward with clarity, resilience, and a renewed sense of hope.
