Great to meet you!

When you're used to being the one who "holds it all together," it can be difficult to recognize when you need care, too. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling anxious, emotionally exhausted, struggling with health issues, low self-esteem, or simply sensing that the way they've been navigating life is no longer working for them.

.

.

I help clients navigate anxiety, health anxiety, chronic pain, and illness while developing a more grounded and trusting relationship with their bodies. I also work with clients experiencing challenges with self-confidence and relationships, as well as difficult life transitions.

.

.

My approach to therapy blends traditional psychotherapy practices such as ACT, CBT, and Motivational Interviewing with integrative methods like mindfulness, EFT, and somatic-informed practices such as Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), a therapeutic technique that helps retrain the brain to interpret and respond to bodily signals more accurately, which can help reduce the intensity of symptoms and disrupt the cycle of chronic pain. I have also completed coursework through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, which reflects my ongoing passion to support clients through a more holistic lens.

.

.

My goal is to help empower clients to feel more confident & resilient to "ride the wave" of life's inevitable challenges, while supporting you to build the meaningful life you desire.

My approach to therapy

Clients usually tell me that they appreciate that I'm real and human with them. My style is conversational and down-to-earth, and I take a collaborative approach to our work- we are working together to help you get to where you want to be. I welcome humor into our sessions, because our bodies often feel most at ease when we're feeling safe, connected, and laughing. I hope to provide a space that feels safe for you to be yourself!

What you can expect from me

Our first session is focused on getting to know you. We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, what your goals are for our work together, and what life looks like when you finally reach it.

Some days we're learning, some days we're processing, and other days we're celebrating the small wins. You'll hear me say this often "this can be the hardest work you'll ever do, but it can be empowering!"
