Great to meet you!

I believe therapy is a collaborative process built on trust, compassion, and genuine connection. My goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life's challenges.

My professional background includes working with individuals who've experienced domestic abuse, anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship concerns, trauma, and emotional dysregulation. I tailor treatment to each person's unique needs, drawing from evidence-based approaches while recognizing that every client's journey is different.

I earned my degree in Social Work from Temple University and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am committed to ongoing professional development and providing care that is culturally responsive, affirming, and client-centered.

Whether you're seeking support during a difficult season, working through past experiences, or looking to build healthier coping strategies, I strive to help you identify your strengths, develop practical tools, and move toward the life you want to create.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and I look forward to the opportunity to support you along the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs and goals. I believe that you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where we can work together to better understand your experiences, overcome challenges, and foster meaningful growth.

I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), an evidence-based therapy that can help individuals process traumatic experiences and reduce the emotional impact of distressing memories when clinically appropriate. Together, we'll identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, develop practical coping skills, and build on your existing strengths to create lasting change.

Above all, I strive to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel respected, understood, and empowered. Whether you're seeking support through a difficult time or working toward long-term personal growth, I'm committed to helping you move forward at a pace that feels right for you.

What you can expect from me

Your first therapy session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin building a strong therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing at your own pace.

During our first session, we'll discuss what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, relevant personal history, and what you hope to achieve through treatment. I'll also ask questions to better understand your strengths, challenges, and any factors that may be impacting your well-being. This conversation helps us develop a personalized treatment plan that aligns with your goals and needs.

You'll also have the opportunity to ask questions about the therapy process, my approach, and what to expect moving forward. Together, we'll identify initial goals and begin exploring strategies that can help you feel supported and make meaningful progress.

We will work together to establish a sense of safety and trust throughout the process.
