Great to meet you!

My name is Ashley Weiman, and I strive to create a warm, comfortable, and nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself and feel genuinely understood. I believe therapy should be a place where you can explore difficult things without feeling judged or pressured to have all the answers. I'm experienced in providing outpatient therapy to individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties and challenges related to self-esteem and interpersonal relationships.

My approach to therapy

My approach is primarily attachment-based and relational, incorporating elements of IFS and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I also draw from other approaches depending on what each client needs.

What you can expect from me

The first session is really about getting to know you. We’ll talk about what brought you in, what has been going on in your life, and what you would like to get out of therapy. I’ll also want to understand some of the relationships and experiences that have shaped you. There is no expectation that you arrive with everything figured out. Part of our first session is simply beginning to figure out together what would be most helpful.
