Great to meet you!

I provide a warm, compassionate, and supportive approach to counseling for children, adolescents, teens, and adults. With experience in both school and private practice settings, I work alongside clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, ADHD, anger management, and family or relationship challenges while creating a safe and welcoming space where they feel heard and supported. My background in education and clinical mental health allows me to thoughtfully help clients build insight, resilience, and meaningful growth at every stage of life.

My approach to therapy

My counseling style is warm, compassionate, and supportive while also being direct and thoughtfully challenging when needed to encourage growth and meaningful change. I strive to create a safe and welcoming environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the counseling process. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, which allows me to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs and goals. Together, we work to build insight, develop practical coping strategies, and create lasting, positive change.

What you can expect from me

The first counseling session is typically focused on building rapport, getting to know one another, and discussing what to expect throughout the counseling process. This initial session helps create a comfortable and supportive foundation while allowing space to explore concerns, identify goals, and begin developing a strong therapeutic relationship. The goal is to establish a collaborative environment where clients feel safe, understood, and prepared for future growth and progress in counseling.
