Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Ashlie Larimore, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. I earned my master’s degree in counseling from Troy University and have spent several years working with children, teens, and adults in both outpatient settings and inpatient crisis care.

Because of my background, I’m comfortable supporting people through everything from everyday stress and overwhelm to life’s heavier moments. I especially enjoy working with individuals navigating anxiety, emotional regulation, ADHD concerns, life transitions, grief, and family or relationship challenges.

I believe therapy should feel supportive, safe, and real - not awkward, intimidating, or overly formal. You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear plan when you start. Showing up is enough.

My approach to therapy

My approach is down-to-earth, collaborative, and practical. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy, and I won’t just nod silently while you talk. We work together to understand what’s really going on beneath the surface and develop tools that actually fit your life.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about getting comfortable and getting to know each other. There’s no pressure to share everything at once. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been weighing on you, and what you hope life could look like with the right support. By the end of the session, most clients leave feeling heard, validated, and a little more hopeful with a sense that they’re not navigating things alone anymore.
