Great to meet you!

Welcome! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a somewhat unconventional path into the mental health field. My first master's degree was in English Literature, and I have always considered myself a creative person at heart. Years later, recognizing a deep-rooted desire to help others, I returned to school to study clinical psychology and pursue a career in therapy. I especially enjoy working with artists and individuals who view themselves as spiritual.

My clinical background includes working in substance abuse treatment centers, community mental health, and providing clinical supervision to associate therapists.

My approach to therapy

I help individuals navigate difficult life transitions, manage stress, and work through anxiety. My approach is collaborative, warm, and intuitive, with an emphasis on helping clients reconnect with their own inner wisdom and discover what feels right for them. I incorporate somatic techniques, such as mindful breathing and grounding exercises, to help clients feel more present and regulated. I also offer parts work and dream exploration and analysis, and draw on solution-focused approaches when helpful. My goal is to create a supportive space where clients can gain insight, build resilience, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.

What you can expect from me

The goal of our first session is to begin building rapport, get to know one another, and establish clear, meaningful goals for treatment.
