Great to meet you!

You may be doing your best to hold everything together while anxiety, stress, or difficult emotions quietly take more out of you than others realize. Your mind may rarely slow down, anger can sometimes feel harder to manage than you would like, or maternal mental health concerns may leave you trying to care for yourself while also carrying the needs of others. I work with adults and seniors experiencing anxiety, stress management, maternal mental health concerns, relationship issues, and women’s issues. These experiences can also overlap with anger management, ADHD, depression, family issues, or grief or loss, especially when your relationships, responsibilities, and emotional wellbeing begin affecting one another. Therapy can give you a place where you do not have to keep pushing through or have everything figured out. Together, we can understand what has been weighing on you, strengthen healthier ways of coping, and help you feel more grounded and confident in yourself and your relationships.

My approach to therapy

Our work will make room for both the person you are and the relationships, responsibilities, emotions, and experiences that have shaped you. We’ll explore how anxiety, stress management, maternal mental health concerns, relationship issues, and women’s issues may be affecting your emotional wellbeing and the way you connect with yourself and others. I may use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you recognize patterns in thoughts and behaviors that contribute to anxiety or stress and develop healthier ways of responding, while Experiential Therapy can help you connect more deeply with emotions and experiences that may be difficult to understand through conversation alone. Our sessions will be collaborative, warm, and grounded in what you need, giving you space to better understand yourself while also developing practical ways to navigate difficult emotions, relationships, and everyday stress.

What you can expect from me

You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what needs to change or how to explain everything you have been carrying. During our first few sessions, we will take time to understand what brought you here, what has been most difficult, and what you hope will feel different. Together, we will create goals that feel meaningful and realistic and decide where it makes the most sense to begin. You can expect me to bring warmth, empathy, and thoughtful challenge to our conversations while creating a space where you can talk openly about difficult emotions, motherhood, relationships, or the responsibilities you have been carrying without judgment. Progress may look like feeling less consumed by anxiety, responding to stress or anger in healthier ways, feeling more supported through maternal mental health challenges, communicating more openly in your relationships, or becoming more confident making space for your own needs. We will continue checking in on your goals and shape our work around what helps you feel more grounded, supported, and connected to yourself.
