Great to meet you!

I received my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Texas and am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Texas.

I am a lover of getting outside with my 25 pound miniature Aussie, trying to cook from scratch when inspiration hits, and get enormously excited when I come across a steal from my thrifting excursions.

I'm passionate about helping others explore their identities, grappling with trauma and subsequent loss in all forms, and navigating the emotional storm of addiction. Depending on your goals, I can support you in sobriety or a harm-reduction focused lifestyle.

My approach to therapy

I will get curious about what your goals and needs are in therapy. (It’s okay if you don’t have your needs defined just yet!) I have a warm and direct approach, and will provide fitting resources and tools for your individual needs. If we find we are an appropriate fit, I will allow the space for you to safely fall apart, and support you in full acceptance of yourself, all the while challenging you in your reality. You have come to therapy because what you’ve been doing isn’t working, so let’s try something new.

What you can expect from me

We will identify your goals and also get to understand each other to see if we are a good fit. I will stay curious about what brings you to therapy and what you want to get out of your experience. You'll share your background, but only as much as you're comfortable sharing.
