Great to meet you!

You’ve been in therapy. You know your triggers, you can name your childhood wounds, and you can analyze your patterns backward and forward. But despite all that insight, your day-to-day life hasn't actually changed. You’re still caught in the same emotional loops, overwhelmed by complex trauma responses, and feeling like you’re just paying someone to watch you talk in circles every week.

If you’re tired of endless processing that leads nowhere, my practice is built for you.

I specialize in complex trauma, but my focus isn't on endlessly re-analyzing your past. It’s on helping you take that history and translate it into practical, everyday shifts. We’ll respect what you’ve survived, but our primary job is giving you the tools to stop repeating old patterns and start living differently today.

My approach to therapy

I am direct, interactive, and straightforward. You won't get passive head-nodding or vague "and how does that make you feel?" responses from me. We’re going to look at what's not working, get clear on where you're stuck, and tackle it head-on.

Healing from complex trauma is heavy work, but therapy itself doesn't have to feel clinical or suffocating. I bring realness and a genuine sense of humor into the room. We will work hard, but we’ll also laugh when appropriate, because lightness is a key part of healing.

What you can expect from me

We’ll spend the first few minutes knocking out the necessary administrative items; policies, intake paperwork, and reviewing standard screeners to establish a clear baseline.

Once the housekeeping is out of the way, the real work begins: I want to learn your story through your eyes.

You are not a clinical diagnosis or a set of symptoms on a checklist; you are a mosaic of your experiences, relationships, and choices. No two people process complex trauma the same way. That’s why I dedicate the majority of our first session to getting to know you as a whole human being, who you are, how you see the world, and what actually matters to you. From day one, we lay the foundation to build a practical path forward tailored specifically to your life.
