Great to meet you!

I received my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Auburn University. I completed internship training at the Edward Hines, Jr. VA Hospital and postdoctoral training at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, both in Chicago. I have worked with U.S. Military Veterans overcoming the impact of combat stress and Military Sexual Trauma (MST). I specialize in work with adult survivors of relational trauma, such as childhood abuse, interpersonal violence, and sexual assault.

My approach to therapy

I believe people are at their healthiest when in authentic connection to others. Thus, relational concerns are a frequent area of exploration in therapy. I also frequently draw from principles of cognitive-behavioral theory—particularly when collaborating with clients to navigate challenges and achieve specific goals. However, I strive to adapt my therapeutic approach to the unique strengths, preferences, and cultural background of each client.

What you can expect from me

My goal is to foster a therapeutic relationship that allows clients to challenge unhelpful narratives, recognize their own strengths and vital inner resources, and connect with their sense of purpose and community.
