Great to meet you!

Ashton Moore is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Ashton received a B.S. in Human Development & Family Studies from Texas Tech University and M.Ed. in Counseling and Development from Lamar University. Ashton has worked with teens, young adults, adults, and couples in a variety of settings, assisting with life challenges as a result of chronic stress and traumatic experiences.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Ashton primarily uses EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy to treat a variety of symptoms and disorders. EMDR is an effective, evidence-based treatment which helps the individual release the stored feelings, thoughts, sensations, and somatic processes associated with stressful and traumatic incidents. In addition to EMDR, Ashton employs elements of Mindfulness, Internal Family Systems, and Gottman Method to address internal and external conflict and communication.
