Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than 20 years of experience supporting teens, adults, and families through anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and behavioral challenges. I also have specialized training in perinatal mental health and experience supporting people navigating chronic illness, cancer, and other health-related stressors. My goal is to create a warm, judgment-free space where you feel comfortable being yourself while we work together toward meaningful change. Whether you’re seeking coping skills, healing from difficult experiences, or support during a challenging season of life, I’m here to help you build resilience, strengthen your confidence, and move forward with hope.

My approach to therapy

I believe one of my greatest strengths is creating a space where clients feel safe, heard, and supported. I balance compassion with honesty, offering encouragement while gently challenging clients to recognize their strengths and make meaningful progress toward their goals.

With nearly 20 years of experience in community mental health and integrated behavioral healthcare, I understand how emotional, physical, and life experiences are connected. I tailor therapy to each individual’s unique needs, whether they’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, perinatal mental health concerns, chronic illness, or caregiving.

My approach is collaborative, practical, and focused on helping you build resilience, develop effective coping skills, and create lasting, meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and that’s completely understandable. During our first session, my priority is getting to know you, not just the challenges you’re facing, but also your strengths, values, and what matters most to you. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, discuss your goals, and answer any questions you have about the process.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before you begin. We’ll work together at a pace that feels right for you, creating a safe, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can feel comfortable being yourself. By the end of our first session, we’ll have a better understanding of where you are, where you’d like to go, and how we can work together to help you get there.
