Great to meet you!

Dr. Asia Gorg, Ph.D., LPC, NCC, is a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor with extensive experience providing counseling, clinical assessment, and mental health services to culturally diverse individuals and families. She provides services in both English and Spanish and has experience helping individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, adjustment difficulties, grief, relationship concerns, and significant life transitions.

My approach to therapy

Within the scope of her professional counseling practice and areas of training and competence, Dr. Gorg utilizes clinical interviews and appropriate standardized clinical assessment instruments to evaluate symptoms and better understand a client’s emotional and psychological functioning. These assessment tools may assist in evaluating symptoms associated with anxiety, depression, trauma/PTSD, and other mental health concerns and contribute to appropriate diagnosis, treatment planning, and clinical recommendations. Dr. Gorg also has experience conducting clinical mental health evaluations for individuals involved in immigration-related matters. These evaluations may incorporate clinical interviews, psychosocial and cultural history, behavioral observations, and appropriate standardized assessment instruments.

What you can expect from me

Most importantly, Dr. Gorg brings energy, compassion, and genuine dedication to helping those who seek her services. If you are reading this, you have already taken an important first step toward seeking support—and that is something to be proud of. Dr. Gorg strives to provide a warm, respectful, culturally sensitive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and supported as they work toward healing, personal growth, and greater emotional well-being.
