Welcome to Nur Wellness & Counseling! With a profound commitment to physical health and mental well-being, I am a dual-certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Medicine and Psychiatry. As a Psychiatric Mental Health NP, I specialize in the diagnosis and treatment of common conditions such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, as well as other complex mental health disorders with a concentration on woman-centered psychiatric care.
My client-centered approach to mental health care is both holistic and/or pharmacological, depending on their individualized needs, goals, and risk factors. I strongly encourage your autonomy and participation in a mutually-agreed upon treatment plan.
The first session focuses on building trust and therapeutic alliance, as well as establishing goals which are necessary for mutual engagement in the work of successful therapy and/or medication management. Scheduled for one hour, an initial visit also includes a full psychiatric assessment and comprehensive evaluation.
The goal is to empower clients to take control of their life through healthy decision-making and solution-based problem-solving to improve emotional well-being.
