Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified psychiatrist dedicated to helping children, adolescents, and adults across Illinois navigate mental health challenges with compassion and evidence-based care. I want my clients to know that I approach care with compassion, respect, and genuine curiosity about their experiences. My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself without judgment.

My approach to therapy

I believe in working collaboratively—your voice is central to the treatment process. Together, we will develop a plan that aligns with your goals, values, and lifestyle. I use evidence-based approaches and combine medication management with supportive therapeutic strategies when appropriate.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a thoughtful and comprehensive conversation focused on understanding you as a whole person—not just your symptoms. I’ll ask about your current concerns, mental health history, medical background, and any relevant life experiences to get a clear picture of what you’re going through.

We’ll also discuss your goals for treatment and what you’re hoping to achieve. This is a collaborative process, so I’ll make sure you have space to ask questions, share priorities, and feel comfortable with the direction we’re taking. I also recognize that seeking help can feel overwhelming, and I strive to make the process as approachable and supportive as possible.
