A bit about my approach to therapy

I am a trauma-informed, person-centered, solution-focused therapist. I utilize tools from CBT, Motivational Interviewing, The Needs Connection Model, & more. I believe you are the expert of your life & that most of us could heal a little bit more if we could safely & powerfully tell our stories & be seen, loved, and known for what we know about each other. One of the commonly requested techniques from clients that I receive is whiteboard therapy sessions. See specialties & modalities below.

What you can expect from our first session

Goals are vital to the therapy process. They not only help you gauge whether or not you have reached your desired results but also help me as your therapist determine if we are on track or not. I believe that in order for therapy to be effective, communication is vital. The client & therapist need time & space to build trust, rapport, and safety. My goal is to understand all of my clients so that I can better facilitate this process for them.
