I work with adults from young adulthood through later life who are navigating stress and anxiety, depression, relationship and family conflict, parenting challenges, and major life transitions. I also have a special focus on parents raising children with special needs — before becoming a therapist, I taught students with special needs, and that background gives me a genuine, lived understanding of the exhaustion, grief, guilt, and love that can all show up at once in that role. If you're parenting a child with unique needs and feel like no one quite gets it, I do.
My approach centers on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) — we'll look closely at how your thoughts shape your feelings and behavior, so you can start noticing patterns and making changes that actually stick. Just as important to me is simply listening. Sessions with me start with space to talk it out, without judgment or rushing, and from there we work together to name what's really going on and build practical, workable solutions.
