Great to meet you!

You may look capable and put-together on the outside while privately feeling anxious, overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck. I work with adults and young adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, difficult past experiences and trauma, depression, perfectionism and burnout, relationship patterns, and struggles with self-criticism and self-worth. I especially enjoy working with thoughtful, high-achieving people who understand themselves well but still find themselves caught in patterns that are difficult to change. My background includes extensive experience in university counseling and trauma-related work, and I am also certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I provide therapy in English and Farsi and welcome clients from diverse cultural and international backgrounds.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and active. We’ll work together to understand not only what you’re struggling with, but also the patterns underneath it—where they may have come from, what keeps them going, and what can begin to change. Depending on your needs, our sessions may include practical strategies, mindfulness and emotion-regulation skills, exploring relationship patterns, building self-compassion, or understanding the different parts of yourself that may feel pulled in different directions. I tailor therapy to you rather than using the same approach with everyone.

What you can expect from me

I want you to leave sessions with both a better understanding of yourself and something useful to take with you. Together, we may identify patterns that have been keeping you stuck, develop practical ways to manage difficult thoughts and emotions, strengthen boundaries and relationships, and find new ways to respond to challenges. Over time, my goal is to help you feel more confident navigating difficult situations and less controlled by anxiety, self-criticism, avoidance, or old patterns. Ultimately, therapy should help you create changes that feel meaningful and sustainable in your everyday life.
