My belief is that the relationship I develop with each and everyone of my clients, will be cemented with empathy, trust, honesty, and compassion. My work focuses on those who have experienced trauma, whether that be childhood or as adults. It is an area of life that cannot be avoided, regardless of how hard one tries. I received my masters degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling at Mount Mary University, centering on depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and substance abuse.

My approach stems from solution-focused, along with client-centered therapy. I believe that being present and connected with each person, is the true core of any healthy, authentic, and genuine relationship. I want people to know it's ok to not be ok. I listen to understand, when most listen to respond, or fix. Being a therapist is not just a profession, but a calling and passion that I have always had. My hope is sharing this passion with those who are open to receiving it.

I am not your typical therapist.I don't follow a specific rule book, and every session is different from the last. This work is not for everyone, but if you're looking for real change, then you're at the right place. My promise to those that need someone to finally see them, hear them,"get" them, is this. I have no timeline, no expiration date, no pressure to be or get somewhere until the time is right for you. And for those who aren't quite ready, I'll still be here for the day when you are.
